A Monmouth County couple has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after their toddler overdosed on alleged opioids in the family home, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Wednesday.

Police Report: Drugs, Weapons, DUIs, Shoplifting

The following September arrests were reported by Middletown police. Dates and locations for each were not included in the report. In all, police reported that department officers responded to 4,383 calls for service, including 355 first aid calls, 162 burglar alarms, 14 fire calls, and 149 motor vehicle crashes. 
An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Prosecutor: Softball Coach Gets 5 Years’ Probation and $12K Restitution for Stealing Team Money

A Monmouth County youth softball coach has been sentenced to five years’ probation after he pleaded guilty to pilfering thousands of dollars of the team’s travel and tournament cost funds, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Wednesday.
