Police Report: Drugs, Weapons, DUIs, Shoplifting

The following September arrests were reported by Middletown police. Dates and locations for each were not included in the report. In all, police reported that department officers responded to 4,383 calls for service, including 355 first aid calls, 162 burglar alarms, 14 fire calls, and 149 motor vehicle crashes.
An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Dante Dedonno, 49, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Nicholas Zampelle.

• Brendan Falterman, 19, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Eric Van Schaack.

• Anthony Sbarro, 54, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Daniel Flannigan.

• Dante Dedonno, 49, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Tony Perito.

• Carissa Bossert, 34, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) without a prescription, and driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Savvas Roumeliotis. Bossert was processed and lodged at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold.

• Melvin Taylor, 31, of Binghamton, NY, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and possession of prohibited weapons by Officer Sal Albanese.

• Jillian Sarna, 37, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Frank Mazza.

• Amanda Piccirillo, 38, of Keyport, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Julian Reis.

• Adnuoluwap Badru, 23, of Keansburg, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by Officer Edward Jennings.

• Dante Dedonno, 49, of Middletown, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Frank Mazza.

• Cynthia Bardge, 28, of Keansburg, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant and charged with shoplifting by Officer Kenneth Ross.

• Melanie Modrzejewski, 40, of Belleville, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Eric Van Schaack.

• Lauren Ditzel, 33, of Rockway, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Officer Nicholas Manochio for driving under the influence.
