Police: Major Heroin Bust

A six-month investigation culminated in a major heroin bust at a Middletown home, dubbed by Police Chief Craig Webber “a very successful operation.”

On Oct. 16 the Middletown Police Department executed a search warrant at a Rutledge Drive residence. The search warrant was the result of a six-month investigation led by detectives Keith Hirschbein and Daniel Sullivan into the illegal sale of heroin from the home.

Police Nab Alleged Bank Robber, Stalker, Burglar

The following recent arrests were  made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• William Baner, 32, of Main Street in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 12 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

He was released after posting $12,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Christopher Gaul, 31, of Main Street in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 12 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released after posting $12,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Cameron Wood, 20, of Bay Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 13 by Patrolman Jesse Toma and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing the administration of law and eluding arrest.

He was held on $27,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

Police Report Drug Possession, Assault, DWI Arrests

The following recent arrests were made and reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Antonio Carino-Martinez, 35, of Red Bank, was arrested on Aug. 9 in the area of Herbert Street and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Davion Watkins, 31, of Red Bank, was arrested on Aug. 9  in the area of Leroy Place and charged with obstruction of administration of law, resisting arrest, possession of prescription legend drugs and on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Vincent Cooper, 29, of Hamilton Square, was arrested on Aug. 8 in the area of Riverview Plaza and charged with taking by means of conveyance by Patrolman Dave Smith.

• Felipe Valente-Olivares, 35, of Red Bank, was arrested on Aug. 8 in the area of Washington Street and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

Police: Two Area Men Arrested in Heroin, Crack Cocaine Bust

The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Ryan Holfer, 26, of Rutledge Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 4 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property.

He was held on $23,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Taylor Hendricks, 28, of Rutledge Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 4 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held on $21,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• On Aug. 3, Patrolman Kent Thornton arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Middletown and charged him with criminal mischief.

He was released pending a court date.

• On Aug. 3, Patrolman Raymond Sofield arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile form Eatontown and charged him with simple assault.

He was released pending a court date.

• Brooke Elliott, 20, of Hudson Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Aug. 5 by Patrolman Michael Reuter and charged with driving while intoxicated.

She was released pending a court date.

• Huseyin Colak, 40, of Brookside Drive in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 5 by Patrolman Christopher Menendez and charged with simple assault.

He was held on $2,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Christopher Sclavunos, 35, of Frazee Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on Aug. 5 by Detective First Class Kelly Godley.

He was held on $10,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Daniel Taylor, 26, of Cedar Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 6 by Patrolman Antonio Ciccone and charged with stalking.

He was held on $2,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• James Behne, 46, of Pinebrook Road in Eatontown, was arrested on Aug. 9 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to taking of breath samples.

He was released pending a court date.

• Jenny Taveras, 32, of Clover Road in Maple Shade, was arrested on August 11 by Interim Sgt. Charles Higgins and charged with driving while intoxicated.

She was released pending a court date.

• On Aug. 11, Patrolman Frank Mazza arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Red Bank, and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of fireworks.

He was released pending a court date.

The following recent arrests were made and reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Mackenzie Killeen, 23, and Samatha Lupino, 24, both of Middletown, were arrested on July 23 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue for and charged with possession of a CDS (heroin) and possession of a hypodermic syringe by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Jahvon Wells-Bailey, 27, of Keansburg, was arrested on July 16 in the area of River Street and charged with possession of a CDS (under 50 grams of marijuana), possession of a CDS with intent to distribute and possession of a CDS within 1,500 feet of a park or public housing by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

 

• Devin Dimartini, 19, of Lincroft, was arrested on July 20 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Jorge Torres.

Police Arrest Three Locals on Marijuana Growing, Dealing Charges & More

An extensive investigation and execution of a search warrant led to the uncovering of a local marijuana growing operation and drug bust during which three Middletown residents were arrested at their township home.

On July 9, Kenneth Newell, 48, Samuel Hudson, 26, and Nicole Boutiette, 25, all of Carter Avenue in Middletown, were arrested by Middletown police after a search warrant of their home was executed based on evidence of a marijuana growing operation there, according to a Middletown police report.

Newell was charged with: possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of lost or mislaid property, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, unlawful possession of a rifle and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Holmdel Municipal Court, the report said.

Hudson was charged with: possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic syringes and unlawful possession of a rifle, according to police.

Boutiette was charged with: possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringes and unlawful possession of a weapon, police said in the report.

Newell was held on $5,750 bail; and Hudson and Boutiette were held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge D’Auria.

The warrant execution was a result of an investigation conducted by Officer Adam Colfer.

Police: Major Heroin Bust; 85 Bags

An investigation launched by area police resulted in a major heroin bust yielding the seizure of 85 bags of the drug on Monday.

Joshua Hart, 23, of Church Street in the Belford section of Middletown was arrested on July 12 after Middletown police found him in the Belford section of the Henry Hudson Trail allegedly in possession of the 85 bags of heroin, police said in a released statement.

Upon his arrest, Hart was charged with: possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and loitering with the intent to use CDS (controlled dangerous substance), police said.

The Middletown Police Department has recently beefed up patrols on foot and using all-terrain vehicles on the community trail.

Hart’s arrest was a result of the increased patrols and an investigation conducted by Detective Keith Hirschbein, Patrolman Gregory Buhowski and Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia, the release said.
