Police Report Major Heroin, Marijuana Busts, Robbery & More

The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Rebecca Bartos, 26, of Bayside Drive in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 14 by Patrolman Christopher Menendez and charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct.

She was released pending a court date.

• Danielle Powell, 20, of Southview Terrace West in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 14 by Corporal Thomas Meckier and charged with escape, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing the administration of law, hindering apprehension, resisting arrest and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

She was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option.

• Maria Herring, 20, of Acker Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 13 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was released pending a court date.

• Casey Raguseo, 20, of Walker Terrace in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 13 by Patrolman Jason Troshane and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was released pending a court date.

• James Franklin, 49, of Hudson Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 18 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with harassment, resisting arrest and terroristic threats.

He was held on $10,000 bail.

• Nicholas Lewandowski, 18, of Peach Blossom Lane in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 18 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes and charged with resisting arrest, eluding, obstructing the administration of law, hindering apprehension, and aggravated assault on a police officer.

He was held on $60,000 bail.

• Clifton Hughes, 38, of Portland Avenue in Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 18 by Corporal Bernie Chenoweth and charged with possession of cocaine.

He was held on $2,500 bail.

• Stevie Rocha-Hughes, 30, of Portland Avenue in Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 18 by Corporal Bernie Chenoweth and charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, obstructing the administration of law, possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was held on $5,000 bail.

• Thomas Emerson, 37, of Linden Street in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 17 by Patrolman Adam Colfer with simple assault.

He was released after posting $1,000 bail.

• Vincent Licata, 25, of Bowman Road in Jackson, was arrested on Oct. 17 by Corporal Robert McNair and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

He was released pending a court date.

• Todd Jakubik, 38, of Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright, was arrested on Oct. 16 by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Wendy Hendricks, 61, of Rutledge Drive in Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 16 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of heroin, maintaining a nuisance, and unlawful possession of Xanax.

She was held on $11,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Honora O’Brien- Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Dana Bostwick, 34, of Field Avenue in South Plainfield, was arrested on Oct. 16 by Detective William Strohkirch and charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was held on $11,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Honora O’Brien-Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Timothy McGrath, 29, of Rutledge Drive in Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 16 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe and unlawful possession of a prescription legend drug.

He was held on $34,000 bail, set by Judge Honora O’Brien-Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Christopher Hartman, 30, of Fairview Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 16 by Detective Albert Scott and charged with possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held on $7,000 bail, set by Judge Honora O’Brien-Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Matthew Hendricks, 32, of Rutledge Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 16 by Detective Keith Hirschhbein and charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful possession of a prescription legend drug.

He was held on $44,000 bail, set by Judge Honora O’Brien-Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Taylor Hendricks, 28, of Rutledge Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 16 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

He was held on $12,000 bail, set by Judge Honora O’Brien Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• On Oct. 17, Patrolman Jesse Toma arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Middletown and charged him with possession of alcohol by a minor.

He was released pending a court date.

• On Oct. 17,  Patrolman Jesse Toma arrested a 17-year-old female juvenile from Keyport and charged her with possession of alcohol by a minor.

She was released pending a court date.

• John Orchard, 19, of Walnut Avenue in Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 17 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• John Underwood, 50, of Lind Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 19 by Patrolman Nicholas Haines and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Thomas Drum, 59, of 8th Street in Hazlet, was arrested on Oct. 19 by Detective Kelly Godley and charged with harassment.

He was released pending a court date.

• Wayne Carhart, 36, of Church Street in Belford, was arrested on Oct. 19 by Detective Daniel Sullivan on a violation of parole warrant.

He was held pending a court date.

• On Oct. 19, Patrolman Ricardo Cruz arrested a 13-year-old female juvenile from the Port Monmouth section of Middletown and charged her with simple assault.

She was released pending a court date.

• Kelly Moylan, 46, of King James Lane in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Oct. 21 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), possession of a hypodermic syringe and unlawful possession of a prescription legend drug.

She was released pending a court date.

• Danny Vizuete, 32, of Clifton Avenue in Newark, was arrested on Oct. 21 by Lt. Michael Kenney and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Richard Smith, 52, of Creek Road in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 22 by Police Officer Erica Weeks and charged with violation of a court order and harassment.

He was held on $10,000 bail, set by Judge Honora O’ Brien-Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Jenny Chimenti, 32, of Main Street in Keansburg, was arrested on Oct. 22 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was released pending a court date.

• Mahmoud Okal, 30, of Burroughs Terrace in Union, was arrested on Oct. 22 by Cpl. Carl Roth and charged with aggravated assault and robbery.

He was held on $55,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Cesar Ochoa, 28, of Norwood Avenue in Long Branch, was arrested on Oct. 25 by Patrolman Christopher Menendez and charged with defiant trespass.

He was released pending a court date.

• Justin Urbealis, 18, of Quaker Road in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 24 by Patrolman John Soltysik and charged with defiant trespass and underage possession of alcohol.

He was released pending a court date.

• Thomas Fehr, 27, of River Road in Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 24 by Patrolman Thomas Foster and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Brittany McClean, 22, of Bradford Street in Orange, was arrested on Oct. 26 by Patrolman Patrick Leonard and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

She was released pending a court date.

• Peter Bruno, 43, of Oak Lane in Eatontown, was arrested on Oct. 25 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Kyle Brittain, 28, of Washington Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 25 by Patrolman David Ringkamp and charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and defrauding a drug urine test.

He was released pending a court date.

• Keith Serwatka, 47, of Tallmadge Avenue in Chatham, was arrested on Oct. 24 by Patrolman Ryan Riffert and charged with disorderly conduct.

He was released pending a court date.

• On Oct. 24, Patrolman Nicholas Haines arrested a 17-year-old female juvenile from the Lincroft section of Middletown and charged her with defiant trespass and underage possession of alcohol.

She was released pending a court date.

• On Oct. 24, Patrolman Ryan Riffert arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Red Bank and charged him with underage possession of alcohol and defiant trespass.

He was released pending a court date.

• On Oct. 24, Patrolman Christopher Dee arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Red Bank and charged him with defiant trespass and underage possession of alcohol.

He was released pending a court date.

• On Oct. 24 Patrolman John Soltysik arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Red Bank and charged him with underage possession of alcohol and defiant trespass.

He was released pending a court date.

• Walter Fisler, 53, of Creek Road in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 26 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of Xanax, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released after posting $6,000 bail.

• Hunter Rawson, 19, of Illinois Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested Oct. 26 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with criminal mischief.

He released after posting $1,500 bail with a 10 percent option.

• Freddy Romero, 41, of Wilson Avenue in Newark, was arrested on Oct. 28 by Corporal Darrin Simon and charged with providing false information to a police officer, obstructing the administration of law, and hindering apprehension.

He was released after posting $7,500 bail, set by Judge Alfred D’Auria.

• Eric Davis, 23, of Weehawken Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 27 by Patrolman Brian McGrogan and charged with shoplifting from the Shop Rite store.

He was released pending a court date.

• Thomas Santifort, 31, of Roxbury Road in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Oct. 27 by Patrolman Brady Carr and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Marc Costello, 42, of Newman Springs Road in Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 27 by Patrolman Joshua Midose and charged with obstructing the administration of law and disorderly conduct.
