The Endless Summer Beach Cleanup and Party, hosted by Clean Ocean Action and Donovan’s Reef, at Donovan’s, starting at noon … 

The itinerary for the day is as follows:

• noon to 1 p.m. … beach cleanup

• 2 to 6 p.m. …. music with the Rich & Chad Duo

• 6 to 10 p.m. … music with Slick from Jefferson Starship

There is a cash only $5 cover charge at the door with all welcome during the day and attendees over 21 only after sundown.

And, in Fair Haven, starting at 4 p.m. and continuing through10, the annual Oktoberfest comes to Fair Haven Fields for the second time.

Entrance fee is $10 for adults 21 and older, which includes one drink ticket, $5 for 8- to 20-year-olds, free for kids 8 and under.

All proceeds go to the Foundation of Fair Haven, the non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for future Fair Haven Days and other community events and causes.

The event is a family-friendly one offering a food truck line-up, live music, local craft vendors, kids’ activities and a wine and beer garden.
