“It’s elementary!” Sherlock Holmes is coming to Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH).
The RFH Tower Players’ production of the show is set to open on Friday night, Nov. 17 with a 7:30 curtain. Performances continue on Saturday at 7:30. The show closes with a matinee on Sunday at 1 p.m..
Sherlock Holmes takes place in 1887 London, where Sherlock Holmes (Calvin Bruno) and his trusty companion John Watson (Lucas Tucker) must defeat the evil Moriarty (Michael Bogardus). To succeed, Holmes and Watson need to solve one of the most baffling crimes England has ever experienced — the murder of a suitor of Lady Ruth (Shannon Dolan). The case involves uncovering the mysterious secrets of Lord Monocle (Cameron Spector) and his wife (Victoria Den Bleyker).
Holmes and Watson face many challenges along the way, and have to address burning questions like: Who, exactly, is Miss Brown Horrocks (Emma Niro)? Are Bassick (Gianna Casale) and her suffragettes up to something? Can a butter knife be a lethal weapon? Will Miss Pott (Grace Gallagher) ever stop giggling? And, perhaps most importantly: What brand of tea does Queen Victoria drink?
There is just one way to find out. Join in the fun and laugh along.
Sherlock Holmes is directed by Suzanne Sweeney with Kasi Sweeney as assistant director. Choreography is by Jen Costa, and costume design is by Carole Malik. Matt Leddin is overseeing set design and tech crew. Zachary Dzierzgowski is play production coordinator.
