There’s nothing like a little holiday “Cheers!” among RFH forever friends.
This little gaggle of RFH girls from the Class of ’78 does the toasty thing, as in glass clinking and warmth, whenever the chance arises. And the chance — the holidays — arose recently.
So, the Rumson-raised girls gathered a little south of home in Asbury to toast to childhood friendship, twirling and hallowed high school hall days, and a bond that never breaks. Oh, they all stay in touch, but any occasion together is a special one for them, because they know the truth in the sentiment that there’s nothing like forever friends. In this case, the friends are, by maiden name, Sue Hill, Gigi Schaefer, Linda Stevens, Lisa Mazurek and Carol Nagle.
And it’s apparent that keeping that days-of-our-youth bond strong keeps the heart, mind, spirit young. These ladies are what the enriched 60s look like. Fantastic forged by friendship!
Cheers to forever RFH friends and holding on tight to the bond!
