Call it skating into fall and falling for a good skateboarding trick.
However you fall for the skate trick, the new fall skies have cast a cloud over some locals’ summer weather these days. Yet, cloudy weather still doesn’t take the sense of adventure out of the RFHer looking for something to skate into — even if it’s a puddle.
So, in honor of our hopes for, perhaps, some puddle-jumping, or slamming, and skating into some extended locals’ summer weather, the Retro Pic of the (George) Day gives a glimpse back to some RFH teens of the 1970s doing just that.
Here they are skateboarding through puddles after a rainy day fall day in someone’s driveway. So agile. So carefree. So … fall?
Talk about falling for the simple pleasures … Notice how these guys were aiming right for the puddles. Ah, youth!
Recognize them and where they are? Tell us about it …
Thanks, once again, to George Day for this Retro Pic of the Day contribution!
