Well, it’s opening night of the RFH Tower Players’ production of The Secret Garden.

And opening night of shows in the RFH tradition has evolved over the years. Used to be that opening night for the musical was on a Thursday with Saturday evening closing the show.

That has changed. Opening night for that show is now a Friday with the show closing with a matinee on Sunday.

But, one thing remains the same — the thrill of opening night … any opening night, whether it’s a traditional RFH Tower Players show or a performance of any variety, like the old variety shows for the classes.

So, to honor the opening night tradition and say, “Break a leg, cast!” we offer a glimpse back to a few RFH shows and performances of the past.

There’s no biz like RFH show biz, right?
