Forget “Play ball!” It’s more like “Where’s the ball?
Aaaaand swing! Call it “playing the field incognito” — or something.
Yes, we’ve explored old times, uniforms and players on the RFH baseball field and in the dugout.
Yes, it’s baseball season. But, one thing we’ve yet to look into is why there was a lone ballplayer either running with or from a gaggle of ghouls on a day in the 1970s.
So, the Retro Pic of the (George) Day today is dedicated to that cast of characters, whoever that cast comprised.
Anyone know? It’s kind of an RFH version of a toned-down Night of the Living Dead. Hmmm. There was a mummy, a couple of aliens, players of another sort, a booted student in a poofy dress.
OK, so it was probably Halloween. But, what were they running toward? Was there a game? Anyone? And who are they?
Have fun figuring this one out. Oh, and play ball?
