A reprise from an original 2017 post all about The Hunt. It’s that time of the year, and we always need a little bit of retro cheer, so here’s to fond Hunt memories revisited! Happy Hunting in your dreams …
It takes a … bunch, yeah, a bunch of RFHers to get a Hunt party started.
And this lovely bunch from the late 1970s or early 80s took the business of Hunt happenings pretty seriously. They arrived in the tailgating arena equipped with some paper plates, ahem, beverages and what looks like a serious intent to have fun. These were the more casual later years of The Hunt.
Oh, there were still some fancy digs and doings. But, there was nary a Hunt without a few hundred turtle necks, oxford shirts, cords, khakis and Fair Isle sweaters.
Recognize any of these Hunt aficionados? What was the most popular food item to bring to the tailgating extravaganza in that era? Beverage?
