Well, the weekend in the Rumson-Fair Haven area promises to be a sunny, crisp fall one. So, what better time to get outside and let the sun shine on some area fun?
Here’s how …
It starts with Saturday’s all-day PTA HarvestFest on the grounds of Knollwood School on Hance Road in Fair Haven.
As usual, there will be games, emergency vehicles to tour, petting zoo, face painting, pumpkin decorating, goodies and more.
On Saturday …
The Sea Bright Fire Department will host its Food Truck Frenzy in the borough parking lot from 1 to 6 p.m.
There will obviously be food trucks, entertainment, a raffle and money wheel.
And on Sunday …
The Fair Haven Fire Department Auxiliary and Fire Police are hosting their 19th Annual Fall Car Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the grounds of the firehouse at River and Battin roads in Fair Haven.
Admission is free and there will be lots of cool old cars to see, trophies awarded, food, drink, music and socializing.
If you would like to register to be in the show, the fee is $10 the day of the event from 8 to 11 a.m.
