Authorities are investigating a Tuesday night shooting in Asbury Park that left three injured, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced on Wednesday.
At 7:21 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, Asbury Park police responded to a report of shots fired from the 1500 block of Asbury Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that three male victims, all of whom sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries, had been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the cause of the shooting is being handled by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Bureau and the Asbury Park Police Department.
