The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• There was a report of a theft on Nov. 15 in the area of Broad Street. The victim reported that $299 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.
• There was a report of terroristic threats ion the area of Beechwood Drive on Nov. 5. The victim reported that someone had made threatening phone calls.
Sgt. Jessica Boyd is investigating.
• There was a report of extortion in the area of Patterson Avenue on Nov. 4. The victim reported that threats were made to release personal information if money was not exchanged.
Patrolman Kyle Ludwig is investigating.
• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Oct. 31. The victim reported that damage had been done to a vehicle.
Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.
• There was a report of burglary in the area of Broad Street on Oct. 29. The victim reported that someone gained entry to a business and stole property.
Sgt. Matthew Clark is investigating.
• There was a report of shoplifting in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Oct. 26. The victim reported that $683.82 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.
• There was a report of identity theft in the area of White Street on Oct. 24. The victim reported that someone used their identity to open fraudulent accounts.
Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.
• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Broad Street on Oct. 22. The victim reported that someone stole $378 worth of merchandise.
Patrolman Joseph Barnicle is investigating.
Arrests
• Andrew E. Rozanski, 32, of Atlantic Highlands, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Nov. 9 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Elizabeth A. Lloyd, 57, of Shrewsbury, was arrested in the area of Patterson Avenue on Nov. 6 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Sparkus L. Kingz, 29, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Oct. 19 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Tyler Fox.
• Regina B. Golden, 34, of Monmouth Beach, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Oct. 18 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Sgt. Matthew Clark.
