The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• A theft in the area of Broad Street was reported on Oct. 6. The victim reported that property, valued at $251, was stolen.
Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.
• A theft in the area of Broad Street was reported on Oct. 6. The victim reported that fraudulent bills were passed. Damages totaled $328.
Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.
• There was a report of forgery in the area of Broad Street on Oct. 6. The victim reported that an unknown person attempted to obtain medication fraudulently.
Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.
• A theft in the area of Frances Street was reported on Oct. 5. The victim reported that an unknown person or people stole $100 worth of property.
Patrolman Joseph Barnicle is investigating.
Arrests
• Kyle K. Jackson, 21, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Oct. 6 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
** Six arrests on contempt of court warrants were reported.**
