Police Report: Theft, DWI, CDS Possession

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. 

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Mac Cosmetics, Broad Street, on March 24. The victim reported that someone stole $1,513 worth of merchandise.

Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.

• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of Broad Street on March 27. The victim reported that an unknown person or people forged and deposited multiple checks totaling $5,416.65.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 29. The victim reported that someone stole $400 with of property.

Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.

• There was a report of theft of services in the area of World Jeep, Shrewsbury Avenue, on March 30. The victim reported that someone entered into an agreement for services with no intention of remitting payment.

Arrests

• Victoria B. Lisbona, 19, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Monroe Avenue on March 27 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• David Bender, 57, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 27 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Ralph Latham.

Contempt of Court 

• Courtney L. Pipitone, 26, of Eatontown, was arrested on March 31 in the area of White Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Anthony J. Doherty, 30, of Media, PA, was arrested on March 31 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Ajene K. Brodie, 20, of Neptune, was arrested on March 29 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Garrett D. Melicia, 56, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on March 27 in  the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
