The following May criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• The theft of two expandable aluminum ladders — one 50-foot, valued at $800 and another 25-foot, valued at $300 — from a backyard int he area of River Street was reported to have taken place on May 25. Patrolman Garrett Falco took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of West Front Street was reported May 18. Unknown people broke a window valued at $1,000 on a parked vehicle during a scuffle.
Patrolman Luke Cahill took the report.
• The theft of $280 in cash from a locker in the area of West Front Street was reported on May 14.
Arrests
• Christy Burke, 33, of the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested i the area of Spring Street on May 28 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Darren M. McConnell.
• Julio Cesar Bautista-Hernandez, 32, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on May 28 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Bruno Manosalvas, 25, of Paramus, was arrested in the area of Warf Avenue on May 22 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Jhonathan Quispe.
• Richard Hayes, 59, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on May 22 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Darren M. McConnell.
• Christopher Whittaker, 43, of Toms River, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on May 21 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Shane Dengel.
• Violet Woods, 24, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of North Bridge Avenue on May 21 and charged with hindering apprehension and disorderly conduct by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Isaac Valdetano-Luna, 41, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Mechanic Street on May 20 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Piero Vescio.
• Jorge Soto-Cintron, 41, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of East Sunset Avenue and charged with possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct by Piero Vescio.
• Thomas Remington, 28, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on May 15 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Shane Dengel.
• Benjamin Warshaw, 22, of Trenton, was arrested in the area of Route 35 and on May 14 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Piero Vescio.
• Jose Hernandez-Avelos, 34, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Earl Street on May 12 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Jhonathan Quispe.
• Kevin Barry, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on May 6 and charged with possession of marijuana by Patrolman Garret Falco.
• Thomas Flores-Paz, 24, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on May 6 and charged with possession of marijuana by Patrolman Milton Gray IV.
• Joseph Calabro, 28, of Fair Haven, was arrested in the area of White Street on May 5 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.
• Michael Lee Evans, 35, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on May 4 and charged with resisting arrest, obstructing the administration of law and possession of marijuana by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Juan Quezada-Caranza, 18, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on May 3 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), marijuana, and drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Jorge Torres.
• Brett DePalma, 30, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Bank Street on May 2 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Thomas Doremus.
• Calith Hudson, 28, of Jamaica, NY, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on May 2 and charged with possession of marijuana by Patrolman Shane Dengel.
**Police reported 12 arrests solely on contempt of court warrants.**
