The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incident
• There was a report of a theft in the area of Henry Street on Oct. 23. The victim reported that property valued at $500 was stolen.
Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.
Arrests
• Ryan Hart, 29, of Eatontown, was arrested on Oct. 27 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
Contempt of Court
• John A. McConnell, 24, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area pf Broad Street on Oct. 25 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Tracy Polk.
• Daniel Rusignuolo, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested on Oct. 26 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Michael Merrell, 36, of Asbury Park, was arrested on Oct. 26 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.
