The following August criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• The theft of a Louis Vuitton wallet, valued at $850, from the area of Riverview Plaza was reported on Aug. 29. The wallet contained several credit crds, a $2 bill, a NJ driver’s license and a gold PBA card.

• A incident of criminal mischief in the area of Leighton Avenue was reported on Aug. 28. A stop sign was tagged (graffiti) in blue spray paint.
Patrolman Luke Cahill took the report.
• The theft of a black Samsung Galaxy 5S phone, valued at $500, from the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on Aug. 27.
Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the area of Washington Street was reported on Aug. 23. The owner of the vehicle reported that the passenger side window, valued at $500, was broken
Patrolman Preston Mellaci took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of W. Front Street was reported on Aug. 23. A bench was tagged (graffiti) with black and pink spray paint.
Patrolman Frank Metta took the report.
• The theft of a Coach backpack, valued at $300, containing a wedding band valued at $2500 and a Dell laptop, from the area of Mohawk Lane was reported on Aug. 21.
Patrolman Grace Maggiulli took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Leighton Avenue was reported on Aug. 21. A tree was tagged (graffiti) in blue spray paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief to a vehicle in the area of Riverside Avenue was reported on Aug. 17. The owner of a vehicle reported the rear driver side tire, valued at $125, was slashed.

• An incident of theft from a restaurant in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Aug. 15. A business owner said that two people left the business without paying for their meals. The bill as $45,59.

• The theft from a motor vehicle in the area of Bank Street was reported on Aug. 15. The victim reported that a wallet, containing $600 in cash, credit cards and two ID cards, was stolen from the vehicle.

• An incident of criminal mischief at Count Basie Athletic Fields was reported on Aug. 13. The owner of a vehicle reported the its rear windshield and rear driver side window were broken. The windows were valued at $300.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Pearl Street was reported on Aug. 8. A patrol officer reported graffiti on a stop sign and a USPS mailbox. Both were tagged with blue and white spray paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of W. Bergen Place was reported on Aug. 3. A stop sign was tagged (graffiti) with blue and red spray paint.

• The theft of a rear license plate from a vehicle on Manor Drive wwas reported on Aug. 2.
Patrolman Grace Maggiulli took the report.
• The theft of a catalytic converter, valued at $600, from a vehicle in the area of Hudson Avenue was reported on Aug. 2.

• The theft of a catalytic converter, valued at $600, from a motor vehicle in the area of Leighton Avenue was reported on Aug. 2.
Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe took the report.
• The theft of a catalytic converter, valued at $1,100 to $1,800, from a vehicle in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Aug. 2.

Arrests
• Oliver Romero-Nava, 24, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of 2nd Avenue in Long Branch on Aug. 30. and charged with aggravated assault, possession of weapons for unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a handgun by Detective Paul Perez.
• David Morales-Velazquez, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Aug. 28 and charged with invasion of privacy by Detective Paul Perez.
• Emily Wilson, 31, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Aug. 28 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe.
• Brian Lara, 36, of Leonardo, was arrested in the area of W. Front Street on Aug. 25 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Vikram Rajan, 30, of West New York, was arrested in the area of West Street on Aug. 24 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Tarell Madison, 38, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Aug. 22 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.
• Anthony Burgos-Vargas, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Pearl Street on Aug. 21 and charged with aggravated assault, possession of weapon with unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of weapons by Patrolman Christian Nelson.
• Lucia Ramirez-Bautista, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Aug. 21 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.
• Simon Carcano-Cabrera, 24, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of W. Bergen Place on Aug. 16 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.
• Lucas Alonzo, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Aug. 15 and charged with criminal simulation by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Douglas Horan, 43, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Aug. 15 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), and possession of hypodermic syringe by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Jeyson Parrilla-Arroliga, 25, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Aug. 14 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and refusal by Patrolman Andrew Todd.
• Nihjer Hill, 26, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of W. Front Street on Aug. 14 and charged with burglary and criminal trespass by Patrolman Tanner Shea.
• Collette Garrette, age 36 of Delran was arrested on 08/12/2023 in the area of Monmouth St. for Obstructing Administration of Law by Ptl. Jeffrey Lewandowski.
• Andrea Perez, 39, of Scotch Plains, was arrested in the area of Pinkney Road on Aug. 11 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.
• Arlene Cutler, 25, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Rector Place on Aug. 6 and charged with obstructing administration of law by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Nihjer Hill, 26, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Aug. 2 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Piero Vescio.
• Amanda Faucher, 45, of Point Pleasant Borough, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Aug. 11 and charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing administration of law, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Dimas Menjivar-Menjivar, 24, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Bank Street on Aug. 7 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Deborah Overbeck, 33, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Chestnut Street on Aug. 7 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Mariana Tepepa-Flores, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Aug. 1 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Alix Eugene, 23, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Rector Place on Aug. 1 and charged with defacing a firearm, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of penetrating bullets, manufacturing/distribution CDS or intent to distribute CDS, possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempt to elude police, and resisting arrest by force by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Jamir Brown, 29, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Rector Place on Aug. 1 and charged with defacing a firearm, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of penetrating bullets, manufacturing/distribution CDS or intent to distribute CDS, possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, attempt to elude police, and resisting arrest by force by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
