The following January criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• A theft in the area of Wallace Street was reported on Jan. 27. The victim reported that a hard red case containing a Milwaukee impact drill, hammer drill and several drill bits, valued at roughly $500, was stolen out of an open trunk of a parked vehicle.

• The theft of an orange gas-powered weed whacker, valued at $350, from a shed in the area of Tilton Avenue was reported on Jan. 13.

• An incident of criminal mischief at a store in the area of E. Front Street was reported on Jan. 7. A large paver brick was reportedly thrown through the front window sometime during the prior evening.

Arrests
• Terrence Coleman, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Leonard Street on Jan. 18 and charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of weapons by Patrolman Piero Vescio.
• Juan Heraz-Betancourt, 23, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Bank Street on Jan. 18 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Rogerio Soares, 56, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Chapin Avenue on Jan. 25 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Nicolas Torni, 32, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Newman Springs Road on Jan. 21 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Shannon McDermott, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Newman Springs Road on Jan. 21 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.
• Artis Edwards, 58, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of West Sunset Avenue on Jan. 18 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Richard Yencarelli, 53, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Jan. 9 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Luis Gomez, 48, of Dover, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Jan. 8 and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief by Detective Sean Hauschildt.
• Alan Rudnicki, 31, of Manalapan, was arrested in the area of Water Street on Jan. 8 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Rolando Lopez-Hernandez, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Oakland Street on Jan. 5 and charged with aggravated assault and terroristic threats by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
• Adam Tirado, 58, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Jan. 5 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Thomas Doremus.
• Kevin Castillo-Lima, 18, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of River Street on Jan. 3 and charged with obstructing the administration of law, disorderly conduct, possession of alcohol and resisting arrest by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.
• Kevin Aguilar, 18, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of River Street on Jan. 3 and charged with possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of law by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Felix Ramiro-Peralta, 45, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Oakland Street on Jan. 1 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Froilan Hernandez.
**Police reported three arrests solely on contempt of court warrants.**
