The following criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Harmon, Broad Street, on Jan. 5.
Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.
• There was a report of credit card fraud in the area of Saks Off 5th, Broad Street, on Jan. 8. The victim reported that someone attempted to purchase merchandise using false documents.
Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.
Arrests
• Keinone Wilson, 30, of Brooklyn, NY, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Jan. 8 and charged with knowingly using stolen credit cards and contempt of court by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.
• Sarah Sauer, 36, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested on Jan. 4 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.
• Melvin Sodan, 37, of Brooklyn, NY was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Dec. 29, 2016 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and contempt of court by Sgt. Tracy Polk.
• Peter L. Johnson, 60, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Dec. 31, 2016 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
Contempt of Court
• Derick D. Lawrence, 56, of Freehold, was arrested on Jan. 5 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.
• Mark C. Farmder, 47, of Rahway, was arrested on Jan.6 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Michael T. Muhammed, 58, of Red Bank, was arrested on Jan. 8 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Miguel A. Mercado-Navarro, 36, of Neptune, was arrested on on Jan. 3 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Anthony M. Joseph, 27, of Asbury Park, was arrested on Jan. 1 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Nakia Harris, 41, of Eatontown, was arrested on Dec. 26, 2016 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
