The following June and July criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• The theft of a red Coach wallet, valued at $100, was reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Branch Avenue on July 26. The victim reported that several credit cards were in the wallet.

• The theft of a 2020 2020 ATX3 metallic black and gray MD men’s mountain bike, valued at $458, from the front of a McClaren Street residence was reported on July 23.

Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.

• The theft from the front yard of a Mechanic street residence of a silver and gray mountain bike — with the word “specialized” in white lettering on the frame and valued at $400 — was reported on July 16.

Patrolman Piero Vescia took the report.

• The theft of a blue Fuji bicycle from the area of Broad Street was reported on July 15. A black male wearing a white shirt and black pants was reportedly seen taking the bike.

Patrolman Kristin Altimari took the report.

• A theft in the area of West Bergen Place and Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on July 12. It was reported that a Hispanic male, approximately 30 years old, 5’10″ with a thin build, wearing a backwards green hat and riding a red mountain bicycle was seen taking a wallet that was left on a bench. The wallet reportedly contained $70 in cash, several IDs and credit cards.

• A theft in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on July 10. It was reported that a woman grabbed multiple pieces of jewelry and left a business. The accused is described as a female wearing leopard print top, dark colored pants, long dark colored hair and light brown skin wearing a baseball cap. The items reported stolen are: one 14k yellow gold, two part diamond set Claddagh ring with a heart shape diamond in the middle valued at $5,500, one gold ring bearing three small diamonds and three small emeralds, valued at $1,200.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Herbert Street was reported on July 6. A vehicle was reported to have been egged, resulting in scratches, sometime during the evening of July 6 and the early morning hours of July 4.

• An incident of criminal mischief in Marine Park was reported on June 29. Graffiti had been scrolled on a shed.

Patrolman Luke Cahill took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Locust Avenue was reported on June 28. A 2017 blue Mercedes Benz blue was reported to have been scratched along the rear passenger side door. The scratch is approximately 16 inches long.

• The theft from an unlocked vehicle parked on Arthur Place of a gym bag containing workout clothes, personal hygiene items, make-up and several medications, was reported on June 28.

Patrolman Jorge Torres took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Spring Street was reported on June 26. It was reported that a parked vehicle had its rear driver’s side window smashed.

Patrolman Frank Metta took the report.

• A female described as having a medium build and wearing a black tank top, black shorts and a black and white trucker hat with an unknown emblem on the front was seen shoplifting several items from a store in the area of Water Street on June 21. The stolen items were valued at $38.

• The theft of an unlocked purple tricycle from the rear of a Tilton Avenue residence during the overnight hours of June 6 was reported. The tricycle is valued at $400.

Patrolman Darren M. McConnell took the report.

• An Amazon package was reported stolen from the front steps of a residence in the area of S. Bridge Avenue sometime on June 4. The package is valued at $27.

Patrolman Patrick Kennedy took the report.  

• An incident of criminal mischief at the intersection of Monmouth Street and Drummond Place was reported. A street sign was damaged.
