The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
• James Walsh, 53, of Cooper Boulevard in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 15 by Cpl. Lawrence Seymour and charged with shoplifting.
He was released pending a court date.
• Wallace Armour, 67, of Baruch Drive in Long Branch, was arrested on Feb. 16 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Kason Preston, 20, of Morningside Avenue in Keansburg, arrested on Feb. 16 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and simple assault.
He was released after posting $1,000 bail with a 10 option set by Judge James Berube.
• Christian Nietschke, 21, of Church Street in Middletown, of arrested on Feb. 16 by Patrolman Richard Fulham for possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Bruce Hockenberry, 48, of Dakota Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 17 by Patrolman Sean Barry and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
He was released pending a court date.
• On Feb. 17, Cpl. Lawrence Seymour arrested a 14-year-old male juvenile and charged him with unlawful possession of prescription medication, possession of prescription medication with the intent to distribute, and possession of prescription medication with the intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
He was released pending a court date.
• David Cook, 34, of Doherty Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 19 by Detective William Strohkirch and charged with uttering a forgery and theft by unlawful taking.
He was released pending a court date.
• Gennaro Scognamiglio, 30, of Park Avenue in Union Beach, was arrested on Feb. 19 by Patrolman David Ringkamp and charged with disorderly conduct.
He was released pending a court date.
• Thomas Phillips, 36, of Ocean Boulevard in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 20 by Patrolman Kent Thornton and charged with obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Nicole Kost, 32, of Ocean Boulevard in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 20 by Patrolman Ekne Montalvo and charged with obstructing the administration of law, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was released pending a court date.
• Tiarra Harris, 27, of Cedar Crossing in Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 20 by Patrolman Joshua Midose and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
She was released pending a court date.
• Javier Soler, 36, of Main Street in Keyport, was arrested on Feb. 20 by Patrolman Sean Barry and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, obtaining prescription drugs by fraud, obstructing an investigation, and unlawful possession of prescription medication.
He was held on $75,000 bail set by Judge Leahey.
• Keith Walling, 33, of Hudson Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 21 by Patrolman Daniel Benbrook and charged with false report to law enforcement, terroristic threats, stalking, and harassment.
He was held on $45,000 bail, set by Judge James Berube.
• Keith Monaghan, 22, of Commonwealth Avenue in Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 21 by Patrolman Richard Belmont and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Jeron Redway, 28, of Oakland Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Patrolman Sean Barry and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing an investigation.
He was held on $35,000 bail, set by Judge James Berube.
• Keith Monaghan, 22, of Commonwealth Avenue in Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Patrolman Ryan Maguire and charged with resisting arrest, driving while intoxicated (DWI) and obstructing the administration of law.
He was released pending a court date.
• Marissa Mastres, 24, of Main Street in Keansburg, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Patrolman Nicholas Venezia and charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
She was held on $25,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.
• Eduardo Perez-Perdomo, 25, of Wall Street in Eatontown, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Alexandria Carpenter, 26, of Center Avenue in Highlands, was arrested on Feb. 22 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with theft.
She was held on $2,500 bail with a 10 option, set by Judge James Berube.
