The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incident

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Garden Road on Oct. 5. The victim reported that an unknown person or people stole property valued at $58,000 from the residence.

Patrolman Derek Myers is investigating.

Arrests

• Paul D. Flores, 58, of Summit, was arrested on Sept. 30 in the area of Broad Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Amre Elsayed, 27, of Old Bridge, was arrested on Oct. 5 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.
