The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• A burglary in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on March 15. The victim reported that someone removed property valued at $58,020.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

• A theft in the area of Broad Street was reported on March 12. The victim reported that someone removed property.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• A theft in the area of Dorchester Way was reported on March 9. The victim reported that someone removed property.

Patrolman Derek Meyers is investigating.

• A theft in the area of Broad Street was reported on March 9. the victim reported that someone removed property.

Patrolman Derek Myers is investigating.

Arrests

• Ecila L. Ruiz, 20, of Galloway, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 11 and charged with eluding and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Jasmine M. O’Carroll, 20, of Perth Amboy, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 11 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Christian J. Sanchez, 18, of Perth Amboy, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 11 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Andre P. Parker, 33, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 9 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
