The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
• Gary Close, 43, of 10th Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on July 20 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of cocaine, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court.
He was held on $13,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Jose Bonilla, 44, of Laurel Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on July 20 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic syringe, possession of drug paraphernalia and loitering to obtain a controlled dangerous substance.
He was released pending a court date.
• Jonathon Hamill, 28, of Baskenridge Drive in Middletown, was arrested on July 20 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringe.
He was held on $22,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Samuel Jackson, 45, of Monmouth Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on July 22 by Patrolman Nicholas Fenezia and charged with violation of a court order.
He was held on $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Taylor Fornino, 22, of Wilson Avenue in Port Monmouth, was arrested on July 21 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and criminal mischief.
She was released pending a court date.
• Hiram Polanco, 18, of Loshen Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on July 22 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with burglary, possession of burglar tools, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and employing a juvenile to commit a crime.
He was held on $50,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• On July 22, Patrolman Richard Fulham arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile of the Belford section of Middletown, and charged him with burglary and possession of LSD.
He was released pending a court date.
• Daniel Taylor, 26, of Cedar Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on July 26, by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel and charged with stalking.
He was released pending a court date.
• Tyree Sutton, 20, of Cherry Wood Circle in Keansburg, was arrested on July 26 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with disorderly conduct.
He was released pending a court date.
• Megan Franklin, 18, of Morningside Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on July 26 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with disorderly conduct.
She was released pending a court date.
• Lauren Monaco, 23, of Chamone Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on July 26 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with disorderly conduct.
She was released pending a court date.
• Jasmine McLeod, 27, of Waterwitch Avenue in Highlands, was arrested on July 26 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with disorderly conduct.
She was released pending a court date.
• Casimir Wojtaszek, 61, of Thompson Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on July 26 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with simple assault.
He was released pending a court date.
• Louis Palmiotto, 47, of Poplar Street in Keansburg, was arrested on July 25 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of law.
He was released pending a court date.
• Daniel Walling, 30, of Bay Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on July 25 by Patrolman Michael Heaton and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
He was released pending a court date.
• Evan Savulich, 19, of Harmony Road in Middletown, was arrested on July 26 by Cpl. Felipe Benedit and charged with possession of hypodermic syringe.
He was released pending a court date.
• Phillip Guidetti, 19, of Church Street in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on July 26 by Patrolman John Mele and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Cody Edwards, 25, of Bayberry Lane in Middletown, was arrested on July 26 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with disorderly conduct.
He was released pending a court date.
• Christopher Diodato, 20, of Cooper Road in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on July 25 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and charged with driving while intoxicated.
