In Memoriam: Longtime Red Bank Resident, Jack Russell, 87

Longtime Red Bank resident, Jack L. Russell, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, Sept. 28, with his family by his side. He was 87.

Jack proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1961. He went on to become a logistics engineer and was employed by both the U.S. Government and General Electric.

“Jack was an avid golfer for over 65 years and won several awards including club champion at Sun Eagles. He enjoyed mentoring others and was known by many fellow golfers as being ‘one of the best,’ but was very humble and would never agree. Jack loved to tinker and could fix just about everything which involved many special projects at St. Anthony’s of Padua R.C. Church. He also served as a Eucharistic minister and Sacristan at the church.

“Most of all, Jack enjoyed spending time
with his family and friends.”
