Fundraising at a Fair Haven Store for the NY/NJ Baykeeper

Greenlines will host a fundraiser/informational gathering on Thursday evening at its 813 River Road store to benefit NY/NJ Baykeeper.

The event, which will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m., will feature sales, the partial proceeds of which will benefit the Baykeeper’s oyster restoration project, some snacking on fresh oysters and oyster wine Baykeeper presence for project information sharing.

As for the specifics of the fundraising aspect, boardshorts and other beach apparel will be for sale by Greenlines with part of proceeds going towards NY/NJ Baykeeper.

The event is open to the public and free of charge. Sam Delaney and high school student Cole DeMeulemeester met with NY/NJ Baykeeper after learning about their oyster restoration project, and agreed that a fundraiser would be benefit the oyster restoration.
