It’s that time — dress rehearsal time for the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School’s (RFH) annual musical theater production. This year it’s Footloose. And as tech week winds down and things are fine-tuned, the cast settles into dress rehearsals, with that final dress rehearsal set for tonight.
After that, it’s curtain on Friday night. But, for tonight, this is the last night an actor can yell, “Line!” when he or she gets a little stage fright and forgets. It’s the last night for double-checking all those little details and working out kinks before the audience is added for show time.
And it goes like this: Costumes, check. Make-up, check. Sound, check. Lighting, check. Music, check. Dance, check. Props, check. Lines, check. Places, check. Curtain!
Opening night for Footloose is Friday, March 6. Curtain is 7:30 p.m.. The show will go on again on Saturday at 7:30, with the traditional closing matinee on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door.
Anyone remember when RFH shows ran Thursday through Saturday nights?
