Summer DWI checkpoints continue this weekend with two set in shore go-to spots, Deal and Spring Lake Heights, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

On Friday, July 26, in Deal …
Starting at 9 p.m. and running through 1 a.m. on Saturday, vehicles traveling north on Ocean Avenue will be diverted into the Deal Casino Beach Club parking lot. There, Task Force members and Deal police will screen drivers for sobriety.
On Saturday, July 27, in Spring Lake Heights …
Starting at 9 p.m. and running through 1 a.m., vehicles traveling south on Route 71 will be diverted onto Passaic Avenue. There, drivers will be screened for sobriety by Spring Lake Heights police and Task Force members.
