Summer DWI checkpoints continue with one to start the weekend on Friday night through to early Saturday morning, The Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday, July 11 in the Navesink section of Middletown …
Until 1 a.m. on Saturday, all vehicles headed north on Route 35 will be diverted into the M&T Bank parking lot at Navesink River Road.
There, all drivers will be screened for sobriety by Task Force members and Middletown police.

As usual, members of the Task Force will work alongside officers from the local Police Department during the checkpoint operation.
