The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Eric Buck, 33, of Kimberly Court in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 7 by Patrolman Jesse Toma and charged with simple assault.

He was held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• James Fleming, 22, of Harmony Road in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 4 by Lieutenant John Lenge and charged with arson and criminal mischief.

He was held on $7,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Megan Kerrigan, 18, of Marlpit Road in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 6 by Patrolman Brian McGrogan and charged with shoplifting.

She was released pending a court date.

• Michelle Kerrigan, 18, of Marlpit Road in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 6 by Patrolman Brian McGrogan and charged with shoplifting.

She was released pending a court date.

• Corey Martz, 24, of Thunder Road in Middleburg, FL, was arrested on Sept. 5 by Pattrolman Richard Fulham and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• James Behne, 46, of Pinebrook Road in Eatontown, was arrested on Sept. 4 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with driving while intoxicated.

He was released pending a court date.

• Michael Porpora, 19, of Galway Drive in Hazlet, was arrested on Sept. 4 by Patrolman Daniel Benbrook and charged with simple assault.

He was released pending a court date.

• Owen Orsini, 21, of Laurel Avenue in Holmdel, was arrested on Sept. 4 by Patrolman Michael Pintilie and charged with simple assault.

He was released pending a court date.

• James Fleming, 22, of Harmony Road in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 4 by Detective Keith Hrischbein and charged with burglary and theft.

He was held on $25,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Mark Vargas, 46, of 8th Street in Hazlet, was arrested on Sept. 10 by Detective Laurence Schachtel and charged with shoplifting.

He was released on a summons.

• Elizabeth Veres, 43, of Fillmore Drive in Millstone, was arrested on Sept. 11 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of Xanax.

She was released pending a court date.

• Gregg Sisco, 51, of Steeple Chase Court in Colts Neck, was arrested on Sept. 11 by Patrolman Ryan Riffert for driving while intoxicated.

He was released pending a court date.

• Elizabeth Veres, 42, of Fillmore Drive in Millstone, was arrested on Sept. 11 by Lieutenant Ernest Volkland for possession of cocaine.

She was released pending a court date.

• Nicholas Walker, 22, of Palmer Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 12 by Patrolman Thomas Foster and charged with simple assault, false imprisonment, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of Temazepam.

He was held on $15,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.

• On Sept. 11, Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis arrested on 16-year- old male juvenile from Asbury Park and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.
