These are the moments … graduation moments. In this case, eighth grade graduation milestone moments. Those moments surrounding classic snapshots taken by the river, a couple of walks, a dance and some goodbyes to elementary and middle school days in Fair Haven and a hello to high school.
Knollwood School eighth graders have graduated. They’ve done their picture poses down by the river at the Fair Haven Dock and at home. They’ve done the symbolic traditional walk from one school to the other as a send-off. They’ve done the Pomp and Circumstance walk.
Most have been with one another since they were little children going through many milestones together. They’ll likely be with one another, in one another’s lives for a long time to come. This is how childhood connections work. They rarely sever … especially when forged in a small 1.7-square-mile peninsula borough by the river called Fair Haven. Truest of stories. Just ask around. All old Fair Havenites know. These are the moments. These are the students.
Congratulations to the Knollwood Class of 2019! Here they are capturing their moments …
Thanks to Jenny Costello, Joanne Mitchell Formisano and friends for the photos!
