The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Marshalls, Broad Street, on Feb. 16. The victim reported that someone stole merchandise valued at $201.85.
Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft in the area of William Sonoma, Broad Street, on Feb. 11. The victim reported that merchandise was stolen.
Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.
Arrests
• Jacob J. Garcia, 20, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury venue on Feb. 15 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue by Patrolman Tyler Fox.
• Darryl Rasul, 51, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Feb. 12 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Ralph Latham.
Contempt of Court
• Wanda Rivas, 46, of Bradley Beach, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Feb. 15 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.
• Harmony D. Lantier, 42, of Avon, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 14 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Law Enforcement Officer Kyle Ludwig.
• Fertima C. Nealy, 35, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Feb. 13 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Tracy Polk.
