The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Dec. 26.
Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.
• There was a report of a shoplifting of $96.62 worth of merchandise in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Dec. 24.
Patrolman Kyle Ludwig is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft of property in the area of Broad Street on Dec. 22.
Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft of $1,250 worth of merchandise in the area of Broad Street on Dec. 18.
Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft of property from a vehicle in the area of Broad Street on Dec. 14.
Patrolman Derek Myers is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft of $1,000 worth of property from a vehicle in the area of Newman Springs Road on Dec. 9.
Sgt. Jessica Boyd is investigating.
Arrests
• Mikky J. Tolson, 43, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Dec. 18 and charged with theft by Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola.
• Stephen A. Gisondi, 27, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Newman Springs Road on Dec. 16 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Sgt. Tracy Polk.
• Kaitlin A. McKiernan, 35, of Atlantic Highlands, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Dec. 15 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Kelly D. Wheeler, 28, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Dec. 10 and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
