Rumson-raised Thomas “Tom” John Horn, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away on Feb. 27 at Riverview Medical Center, surrounded by those he loved most, including his cherished Aussie shepherd George. Services are now arranged.
The Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge is open and fully functional, but work continues.
The contractor is scheduled to continue construction phase work on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. Construction vehicles will continue to enter and exit the work areas on Rumson Road in Rumson and on Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright.
Longtime Red Bank resident and popular Readie’s food market owner, John J. “Jack” Readie, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 9, at home, while holding his daughters’ hands. He was 86.
