Scene Around: Welcoming a Rumson Officer & a Dispatcher

There’s another new officer on the Rumson police beat and taking those calls for help.

The Rumson Police Department recently welcomed on its Facebook page new Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II Brooke Costa, who is also the department’s full-time dispatcher.

Costa is a graduate of the Monmouth County Police Academy, police said Prior to working for Rumson, she worked for the Spring Lake Police Department as a special officer and dispatcher and the Point Pleasant Borough Police Department as a dispatcher, the post said.

“Welcome to Rumson S/O Costa!” the post concluded.
