Rumson police are investigating a Saturday night motor vehicle burglary.
The burglary happened between 8 and 8:15 p.m. in the area of Bellvue and Heathcliff avenues, police said in a released statement.
The alleged burglar was described as wearing dark clothes with a hood and neck gaiter that covered the face. The person was seen leaving the scene in a dark colored SUV, police added.
They are asking that residents check their camera systems in the event that any suspicious activity stemming from the incident was recorded. Any information and/or video may be forwarded to jcamilleri@rumsonnj.gov.
“As always, remember to continue to lock your vehicles, and bring your key fobs inside of your homes!” the released statement concluded.
