Rumson police have issued the following statement regarding the revised drawbridge opening schedule for the Oceanic and Rumson-Sea Bright bridges:
“Due to COVID-19 staffing and mechanical support issues, the Oceanic and Rumson–Sea Bright bridges will temporarily deviate from their normal drawbridge operations.
“Under this temporary deviation, from April 9, 2020 to May 9, 2020 the Oceanic and Sea Bright bridges shall open on signal every hour on the hour.
“It is expected that the bridges will return to their regular operating schedules immediately at the end of the designated time-period.”
