They made a run for it and won. The Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) Girls Outdoor Track and Field team has been named New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) winner.

RFH history was made with the win, as this is first-ever second NJSIAA championship in one year for the RFH girls, the first being none other than the 2025 RFH Girls Indoor Track and Field team.
In 2024, the RFH Cross Country team won the title.
The team made its way home late on Sunday afternoon from South Plainfield, where the win was garnered; and, as is tradition, a mini parade of first aid, police and fire folks, sirens blaring, horns blowing, and lights flashing, escorted the girls from Red Bank Regional High School down Hance to River Road and to RFH.
