Rumson-raised U.S. Navy veteran, Roderic Shea, passed away on May 19 in Jasper, Georgia. He was 66.

“In his life, Rod touched the hearts of many with his kindness, generosity, and humor. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rod will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for his family, and his unwavering dedication to his country. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Roddy had a passion for the outdoors, and loved deer hunting and camping. He also enjoyed country music, and could often be found listening to his favorite songs. Rod was a man of many talents, but perhaps what he will be most remembered for was his unique sense of humor. He had a quick wit and was always ready with a joke, making friends and family laugh with his clever quips and humorous stories.”
