Former Rumsonite, Kathleen Dwyer, passed away on Sunday morning, July 20, “after a tough fight with endometrial cancer.” She was 62.

“Kathleen worked for the New Jersey State Park Service for more than 35 years. Originally working for Twin Lights Lighthouse, she relocated to Cheesequake State Park and ultimately retired in May of 2024.”

She leaves behind: her mother, Barbara Dwyer, 86, of Rumson; and her daughter, Page Smith, 23, of Laurence Harbor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, from noon to 2 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St, Red Bank, NJ 07701. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
