Former Fair Havenite, Donald K. Mullins, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 19, with his family by his side. He was 79.
He was born in Hoboken to the late Harold and Doris Mullins.

Donald is survived by: his loving wife of 48 years, Margaret “Peggy” Mullins; their two children, Alyson Gucciardo and her husband Rob, and Michael H.P. Mullins and his wife Eileen; four siblings, Harold Mullins (Mary Ellen), Michael Mullins, Patricia Piagessi (Ray) and Christine McCallion (Kevin); and four grandchildren, Taylor, Madison, R.J. and Emily.
There will be a visitation on Friday, Dec. 23, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Interment will be private, but a “hooley” is being planned for a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
