Prosecutor: Man Found Guilty of 2020 First Date Sexual Assault at Sandy Hook

A out-of-area 28-year-old man has been convicted on sexual assault charges stemming from the 2020 assault of a woman after their first date on Sandy Hook and is facing up to 20 years in prison, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced on Thursday.

In Memoriam: Red Bank Native, Citarella’s Market Owner, Maria Citarella, 84

Red Bank native and Citarella’s Market owner Maria DiFiore Citarella passed away on Feb. 28 at her daughter’s home, surrounded by family, after an “extraordinary four-year battle with lung cancer.” She was 84.
