The following end-of-December and January arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
- Oscar Lopez-Mendez, 36, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Rumson Road and Bingham Avenue on Dec. 25 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs (DUI) and related motor vehicle offenses by Patrolman Logan Keefer.
- Daniel Mattis, 35, of Rumson, responded to police headquarters on Jan. 8 to post bail for a contempt of court warrant. Patrolman James Orozco assisted.
- Neville Pitts, 51, of Newark, was arrested in the area of Rumson and Hance roads on Jan. 12 and charged with contempt of court by Patrolman James Camilleri.
