Retro Rumson Pint-Sized Patriots

It’s the Fourth of July. Cheers to the pint-sized patriots of yesteryear!

This snapshot back in time may not have been the actual Fourth of July gala, but it was definitely a celebration of patriotism in Victory Park in Rumson — likely one of the Spirit of ’76 bicentennial kind and post-parade.

Regardless, tphere’s nothing quite little patriots all in a row, decked out in red, white and blue and singing and/or playing about America’s birth.

These Rumson boys and girls were all decked out with somewhere to go and perform, a 1776 Betsy Ross flag as a backdrop. The American spirit topped the little patriots’ performance like the straw (or styrofoam) hats on their heads.

Know these Rumson kids? They made the day a festive ode to America.

Cheers to patriotic spirit, pint-sized and all on the Fourth of July!
