The following recent criminal incidents and contempt of court arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police:

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of Shrewsbury Plaza made by a female on Feb. 5.

Patrolman Matthew Clark is investigating.

• There was a report of property damage in the area of Chase Bank on Shrewsbury Avenue made by multiple individuals on Feb. 5.

Patrolman Derek Myers and Sgt. Tracy Polk took the report.

• There was a report of theft in the area of Shrewsbury Plaza made by a female on Feb. 11.

Patrolman Angel Marrero investigated.

Contempt of Court 

• Nykema Gillis, 35, of Neptune, was arrested at police headquarters on Feb. 2 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

• Shalonda Robinson, 45, of Ocean Grove, was arrested on Feb. 2 at police headquarters on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Darneisha Morris, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 9 at in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ralph Latham.

• Hassan Foster, 20, of Long Branch, was arrested on Feb. 10 at police headquarters on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.
