Police Report: Theft, Criminal Mischief, Shoplifting, Identity Theft

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Shrewsbury police:

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of White Street on July 18. The victim reported that property was damaged.

Patrolman Joseph Barnicle is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Beechwood drive on July 11. The victim reported that $300 worth of property was stolen.

Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola is investigating.

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Queen Ann Drive on July 10. The victim reported that property was vandalized.

Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.

• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Spirits Unlimited, Broad Street, on July 7. The victim reported that someone stole $86.99 worth of merchandise.

Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.

• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Broad Street on July 3. The victim reported that $1,728 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• There was a report of identity theft in the area of Williamsburg Drive on June 30. The victim reported that an unknown person or people used someone’s identity to obtain fraudulent credit cards.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Avenue at the Commons on June 24. The victim reported that property, valued at $1,300, was stolen.
