The following recent arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
• Alfred W. Conti, 56, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Jan. 15 and charged with harassment by SLEO II Michael Zibrin.
• Jesmarie Soto, 33, of Toms River, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Jan. 13 and charged with theft by deception by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.
** Police reported two arrests solely on contempt of court warrants. **
