Police Report: Burglary, Assault, Terroristic Threats, Harassment, False Imprisonment, Theft, Graffiti, DWI, Disorderly

The following July criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft of a license plate from a vehicle in the area of Monmouth Street was a reported on July 31.

Patrolman Frank Metta took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Leighton Avenue was reported on July 24. A fence was tagged with blue spray paint.

Detective Michael Zadlock took the report.

• A theft in the area of N. Bridge Avenue was reported on July 20. An employee at a restaurant reported that someone left the restaurant with out paying the $27.45 for the food.

Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Locust Avenue was reported on July 19. Several structures on a property were tagged with blue paint.

Patrolman Nicholas Maletto took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on July 18. The side of a building was tagged in multiple locations with blue spray paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on July 18. The side of a building was tagged with blue spray paint.

• The theft of a basketball, valued at $107, from the area of Maple Avenue was reported on July 18.

Patrolman Kristin McConnell took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Count Basie Field was reported. A wall on the property was tagged with blue paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Riverside Avenue was reported on July 11. A property manager reported that a property was tagged in two separate locations with blue paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on July 10. A resident reported a building was tagged with blue paint.

• The theft/shoplifting of $87 worth of merchandise from a Shrewsbury Avenue business was reported on July 11.

• The theft of a credit card from the area of Monmouth Street was reported on July 11.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of S. Pearl Street was reported on July 9. A fence and the foundation of a building were tagged with blue paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of W. Bergen Place was reported on July 9. A building was tagged with blue paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Bank Street was reported on July 9. A vehicle owner reported stickers were placed on multiple vehicles.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti— in the area of Tilton Avenue was reported on July 6. A street sign was tagged with blue paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Catherine Street was reported on July 1. A resident reported that a building was tagged with blue paint.

Arrests

• Nasir Hunt, 21, of Newark, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on July 26 and charged with resisting arrest and obstructing administration of law by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Shane VanGlahn, 28, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on July 24 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Jordan Covin, 25, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Montgomery Terrace on July 24 and charged with simple assaultterroristic threats, and burglary by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Charles Mulle, 45, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on July 20 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Melvin Brown, 38, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Montgomery Terrace on July 19 and charged with disorderly conductdriving while intoxicated (DWI), refusal, and driving while suspended by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Rafael Gonzalez-Chagolla, 29, of Perth Amboy, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on July 17 and charged with hindering apprehensionterroristic threats, and contempt of court by Patrolman James McGee.

• Kevin Kries, 26, of Brick, was arrested in the area of Riverview Plaza on July 15 and charged with false imprisonment by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Pablo Reyes-Flores, 36, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area o Rector Place on July 8 and charged with burglary by Detective Paul Perez.

• Donte Alston-Harris, 29, of Woodbury, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on July 7 and charged with harassment by Patrolman James McGee.

• Anthony Rosario, 32, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on July 6 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• David Orosio-Urbina, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on July 5 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Anthony Rosario, 32, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on July 5 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Anthony Gil-Lopez, 20, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Water Street on July 4 and charged with aggravated assault and simple assault by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.

• Frankely Calderon-Rodriguez, 19, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Herbert Street on July 3 and charged with hindering apprehension by SLEO II Carmine Pannullo.

• Kevin Loyal, 36, of East Orange, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on July 3 and charged with theft and criminal mischief by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Pedro Cruz-Gonzalez, 42, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Catherine Street on July 2 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Roberto Zafra-Hernandez, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on July 1 and charged with hindering apprehension, contempt of court and driving while suspended by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

** Police reported 21 arrests solely on contempt of court warrants. **
